T-Pain has canceled a bunch of tour dates -- on doctor's orders..
The Grammy winner apologized to fans on Instagram on Thursday, saying that he'd be risking permanent vocal damage. He says when he started getting pains in his throat, he was given a “shot in my [butt]” and a week’s worth of medicine.
But he hopes to make the dates up, because he “definitely wanted to entertain you guys…and at the risk of sounding like an [a-hole], I definitely wanted the money.”
Losing your voice, even temporarily, is pretty inconvenient for most. But for T-Pain, we're talking about his entire livelihood.
