I resolved to get fit in 2016 and I have stuck to it all this time! I ran my first half marathon (13.1 miles) in February 2023 and I found out far more about getting fit than I ever knew. I was struggling with dehydration even though I was drinking a gallon of water a day. Turns out hydration is not JUST about water intake. Your food sources should also add to your hydration with magnesium and sodium. So instead of dropping $30 on a jug you'll abandon by February we could start with at least a liter of water and your favorite electrolyte, mine is coconut water. I'm here all year with small tips for a steady change.
