I Took My First Indoor Bike Class Here Are My Thoughts

I'm no stranger to fitness, I've been a regular at the gym since 2015. I normally stick to lifting weights and running, preferable not on a treadmill. This year I wanted to challenge myself fitness wise so I took my first in person cycle class and it was awful!

I took a few classes virtually but the at home bike hurt my butt so I quit. I'm not sure why I thought the gym would have a less painful bike but I can report it didn't. I had the endurance to bike the whole class but my thighs were burning so I kept having to stop. It was dark, I felt awkward trying to get my feet in the pedals but I'm going back!

Here's the thing about trying something new whether it's fitness or just life in general, you're going to suck. Remember you're trying something new and nobody cares enough to watch you as a beginner (I promise you have far more make believe haters than real life haters). Go to the gym, be awkward, make it messy, reach some goals!
