Born and raised in a small town of Stockton, Al, we received our first taste of Mr. Campbell in his 2006 cover of Beyonce's Irreplaceable. Then known as L Boogie, Mr. Campbell made it clear the small guy had a big voice and no reason to be shy about it.
Campbell has the unique gift of flawless transition from one genre to the next which is apparent on his latest single Don't You Wanna Dance. The song instantly, well, makes you wanna dance! The infectious southern soul swing feel and the perfect lyrics made the song an instant favorite among soul connoisseurs and amateurs.
Like many artist Mr. Campbell got his start in church and eventually joined the choir in High School. From High School chorus he took a full ride Musical Choir Scholarship to Alabama State University. It would take 6 years for another male to receive the scholarship popular among women.
Mr. Campbell had a pretty lengthy sucess rap sheet. A record deal with Body Head Ent./ Universal Records in 2006 (Roy Jones Jr. Label). A Publishing Deal with a Company based out of "Los Angeles" known as BridgeKid Ent. in 2008 (originally found Neyo). Campbell even made it to the Recording rounds of "The Voice" on NBC in 2013' but was released for disclosure violations! Eventually he went the independent route and founded his own licensed company B.M. Muzik Group.
