#TheSpot: Q LaSha

posted by Arielle -

Take a pinch of vocal reminiscent of Meloni Fiona and dab of Lemonade/90s R&B feels and you get Q LaSha. Show Me, the latest release from the R&B MILF (her words but I agree) will have you music crushing by the first hook. If your having trouble getting your guy to understand actions are king not his words go ahead and download Show Me and let him listen.

As an artist, it is so incredibly important to be authentic to who I am as a person. I always want my music to reflect me truthfully. I'm a songwriter as well so I love to use the experiences in my life as motivation for my music. It's so therapeutic for me. I grew up here in Mobile, Al, and I have ALWAYS loved music. I used to write poetry & short stories as a kid. As I got older, I combined my love for writing and singing. Here we are.

With musical influences like Brandy, KeKe Wyatt, Jazmin Sullivan, Anita Baker, Sade, Micheal Jackson, it's no wonder she belts out tunes with heart. Q's influences are not the fuel to her pursuit of musical happiness.

I chose music as a profession bc it's my calling. Music for me has been like that boyfriend you just can't let go of. I've always tried to convince myself that because I live in Mobile that it would never happen for me. So I would explore other options, but deep down I knew that music would always be it for me! I've been through a lot of hardships in my life & there were times where all I had was God & my voice.

Artist by passion and beating faces for the cheap seats MUA by hustle QLaSha is just getting started. Every lyric has been lived and loved authentically so strap yourself in for this journey.
