2018 Autism Resource

Sometimes something as simple as a trip to the barber shop can be stressful for parents who have children on the Autism Spectrum. Finding places and professionals that are sensory sensitive friendly can be tough when you don;t know where to start.

American Autism & Rehabilitation Center, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is partnering with John 9:3 Foundation during April Autism Awareness Month, to host the 2018 Autism Resource Fair Fundraiser at the Daphne Fire Department from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., April 21. The event will be entertaining for all ages with inflatables, local food trucks, music, games, raffles, autism resource booths and more. Local heroes such as police officers, fire fighters and military personnel will also be a part of the event.

You can also ask about fun activities like sensory friendly trips to the movies and much more. The event is free and open to the public. Here's the link if you's like to participate
