The New York Police department told the AP the rapper said he was in the passenger seat of a car when they were rear-ended by another vehicle. He claims two men forced him from the car at gun point into the back seat of their vehicle. Once in the car they demanded he call and get a number of personal items including jewelry and cash. Tekashi did as requested and was released. Eventually he became uncooperative with police. From there he was hospitalized for his injuries.
