Offset's Mom Reveals When Takeoff's Solo Album Will Drop

Each member of Migos is preparing to drop a solo album very soon! Well, that's according to Offset's mom, Latabia Woodward. After Takeoff skipped out on the 2018 American Music Awards on Tuesday (October 9), many fans seemed to believe that the group, which consists of Quavo, Offset and Takeoff, had split. However, Latabia took to Instagram to dispel split rumors and spill some tea about the group member's solo plans. "It's still 3 of them," she wrote in an Instagram comment to a fan questioning Takeoff's absence from the award show. "Take is working on his solo album which releases soon after Quavo's. Each of them are releasing solo projects."

While news of their solo projects isn't exactly "news" (Quavo recently told Hypebeast that they're all currently working on their "own songs"), the fact that all of their solo projects are coming "soon" is, in fact, news. As fans know, Quavo is currently gearing up for the release of his debut solo album, Quavo Hunchoon Friday (October 12). However, details about Offset' and Takeoff's solo projects have not been released yet. (Well, besides Offset's mom's latest tea)

The group clearly doesn't plan to let up on their radio domination as Quavo recently hinted (basically confirmed) that Migos and Drake would drop a mixtape after their ongoing tour, "Aubrey and the Three Migos." The "Workin Me" rapper revealed the news while appearing in GQ's "Actually Me" series earlier this week. After a fan tweeted him, "Quick thought but what if MIgos and Drake dropped a collab mixtape after the tour?" Quavo responded, "You must be a psychic. If that don't tell you something, I don't know what to tell you."

The "Lamb Talk" rapper later elaborated on his comment in a separate GQ interview, describing what the joint project would sound like if the collab were to happen. "That will be a whole lotta bangers," he admitted. "I don’t even think we would play around and do regular music. We wouldn’t play. We will be just like a whole smash...because that’s how our tour is. It’s a club, from start to finish. It’s crazy."
