The album has already garnered hits such as "Dangerous" featuring Jeremih & PNB Rock as well as  "Uptown Vibes" Featuring Fabolous & Anuel AA! The album also has tracks with Cardi B21 SavageKodak BackElla MaiRick Ross, an extremely memorable verse from Jay-Z and lastly the reunion between Meek Mill and Drake on their record "Going Bad".  Stopping by The Angie Martinez show Meek talked his new album, that double date with Jay-Z & Beyonce, his reconciling with Drake, Kim Kardashian's visit to The White House, Tekashi 6ix9ine + More!

Having a song with the title "Uptown Vibes" on his album definitely implied that Meek had been spending quite a bit of time in NYC during the recording of "Championships". Confirming to Angie that he spent about 4 months recording here saying that New York had a huge influence on his album as there are quite a bit of artists from the city featured on it such as Melli, Fabolous, Cardi B, and Jay-Z. Hov's verse on "What's Free" has been the talk of the Hip-Hop community as many people said he was taking shots at Kanye West, which prompted him to take to twitter to clear up the confusion. While Meek agrees that Hov had the better verse on the song he also wanted to make it clear that the verse wasn't a shot saying, “no he said what he said, don’t let them separate us... we family”.

Drake and Meek Mill may have had one of the most public rap beefs of the decade but fans were extremely excited when the two finally reunited on stage during Drake's "Aubrey and The Three Amigos tour". When asked who extended the first olive branch Meek said, “I don’t know exactly its been going on for a year and a half, I think one of his homies reached out to my homies”. He also expressed that there is no bad blood between the two saying that they both laugh at the past and shots they took at each other. However that doesn't stop Meek from keeping it real as he spoke on the beef Drake had with Pusha T, saying that there are no rules to rap beef and everything is on the table, adding that he would even tell Drizzy that himself.

Recently a story came out in which Meek recounted a double with Jay-Z & Beyonce, where Hov was playing the music and accidentally played Drake's "Back To Back" during the height of the two's beef. However Meek revealed to Angie that the song he played wasn't actually "Back to Back" but it was actually "Jumpman" featuring Future. Meek explained that at the time, however, it felt as if it was it was the infamous diss track Drizzy released.
