Travis Scott and his Cactus Jack artists have confirmed they're working on a second JACKBOYS album.
On Monday, March 24, a video of Scott at the helm of the DJ booth surfaced on social media. In the clip, the Houston rapper talks to the crowd before he confirms JACKBOYS 2 is in the works. Afterward, he proceeds to play unreleased music from his artist Sheck Wes, who might appear on the project. Scott's statement is the latest clue fans have received about the anticipated album in recent days.
"Jackboys 2 on the way man," Scott says into the mic.
Scott's announcement was the latest clue to surface on social media over the past few days. Fans first got hyped about the album after a message was displayed during a pop-up gallery in Hong Kong last week that said, "JACKBOYS 2 on the way. What the f**k is we doinnn?" Another message also teased Wes' song "I Love My B***h" is "dropping soon." The hype continued after Scott teased another unreleased song and posted Harmony Korine, the photographer who shot the cover for the original JACKBOYS album, to his story. Don Toliver also fueled excitement for the project by posting a separate teaser to his IG Story.
Travis Scott and artists from his Cactus Jack label first joined forces on their JACKBOYS collaborative album in 2019. The project contains nine tracks featuring songs by La Flame, Don Toliver and Sheck Wes. Jackboys also features collaborations with Quavo, Lil Baby, Rosalia, Young Thug, Offset and the late Pop Smoke.
