K-pop singer and White Lotus star Lisa is facing backlash over her Met Gala look, which featured underwear seemingly embroidered with Rosa Parks' face.

On Monday (May 5), Blackpink's Lisa made her debut appearance at the 2025 Met Gala themed "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style."

The K-pop superstar took the iconic Met steps wearing a custom Louis Vuitton look featuring a black blazer, tights, and a bodysuit with a graphic lace pattern that appeared to show a collage of several different faces, including the likes of Parks.

The civil rights icon was seemingly visible in the underwear area of Lisa's outfit, sparking immediate backlash online.

"Rosa Parks on your underwear less than 3 months after a compilation of you saying the n word goes viral is kinda crazy but maybe that's just me!" one X user wrote.

"Putting Rosa Parks on your no no square after saying the n word…." another user commented.

"I know Rosa Parks spun in her grave like a rotisserie chicken when the news of her likeness on that lady’s coin purse hit the spirit world."

In a statement, a rep for Louis Vuitton confirmed that Henry Taylor, who Pharrell Williams tapped for his spring 2024 collection, designed Lisa's look.

The graphic print features “portraits of figures who have been a part of the artist’s life," the rep said.

Model Amelia Gray Hamlin, daughter of actor Harry Hamlin and former Real Housewives star Lisa Rinna, also faced backlash over her Met Gala look as she appeared to pair her red lace ensemble with a durag.
