The Rejection Hotline

We've all been there, unfortunately, the creepy/annoying guy won't take the hint!

With some of the horror stories that follow women rejecting a guy's advances, you wonder if there is a safe way to handle the situation but still get the point across. Frist the fact this line of thought is necessary speaks heavily towards societies regard for women but before I go off on my feminist fueled rant about Rape Culture and teaching "gentlemen" self-control opposed to CONTROL when it comes to dating...

In comes the website The Mary Sue and their creation The Mary Sue Rejection Hotline.

If you don't want to give out your real number, you can give that creepy bar pickup artist, Tinder date, or unrelenting party guest the number (646) 926-6614. If they call this number, they'll reach a voicemail that says:

"Oh hello there. If you’re hearing this message, you’ve made a womanfeel unsafe and/or disrespected. Please learn to take no for an answerand respect women’s emotional and physical autonomy. K THANKKS."

If they text said number, they get this same message in writing. So your point is made "sir you're hella inappropriate" while sounding like a scholar
