April 20th Mobile will see it's first Sista Strut. It may seem a little out of place seeing as most Breast Cancer Walks happen in October. When you think about it October is Breast Cancer month so why have a walk in April.
Often times we get facts and statistics about Breast Cancer and there are a few that get lost in the conversation. In an effort to highlight what is happening among Black Women and Breast Cancer we decided April would be best. There's a specific agressive form of Breast Cancer Black Women keep being diagnosed with and are dying at higher numbers when compared to other women.
