On the Damn Couch discussing Fitness and Nutrition

Everywhere you turn here comes another reminder the new year is fast approaching and you need some goals. Feeling the pressure to set the big goal because a brand new decade approaches? I'll be the first to say I've done the new year new me and I've also fallen for the lose weight this year kick. Last year I decided I'd just be better instead of new. I'd take my time getting to all my goals for the sake of longevity.

Last year I started working out with a personal trainer who also doubled as my pole dance instructor Ayla Goodson of Gemini Studious. I've made some drastic changes to my activity level but the nutrition could still use some work. Of course that's a new goal so I've slowly started to tackle it.

This week my trainer Ayla, and her Trainer TJ McCord of Quikfits stopped by to give some tips when it comes to nutrition and fitness. Trust me somethings that you thought you knew you may need to unlearn.
