Summer 1990....something. I was a Boys and Girls Club kid. I wen to the Optimist Branch Boys and Girls Club all summer. I made new friends learned new games but most importantly I stepped outside the comfort zone I knew.
I grew up with 4 sisters so I have built in friends. Well I would end up separated from them and paired with kids my age. I learned art and a few sports. I was good at neither but it was still an experience. This year Boys and Girls Club with start a new program with select schools in Mobile County. It's free during the school year and open during the summer for an affordable price. Check out the interview below for more information.
