New On The Damn Couch: International Women's Day

Women are being celebrated and the call to action is clear, we still need equality/ In 1908 15,000 women marched the streets of New York demanding shorter hours, equal pay, and the right to vote among other things. Today we continue that fight and celebrate women all over the world.

Tuesday is a small business owner and activist in Pensacola. I wanted to have an open dialogue about what it was to be a womna. If you're like me you may have been told you dont meet the standards of femininity.

Sabina was born in Bosnia but fled with her family when war destroyed her country. Landing in the United States as an immigrant is one thing. Being a White Woman and a Immagrant haven't stopped Sabina from being active in the fight against racial opression but she has struggled to find her lane.
