LOCAL EVENTS:


69th Annual BLESSING OF THE FLEET- Sat/Sun 10am-4pm, St Margaret Catholic Church, Bayou la Batre

Admission is free and the event will include Alabama Gulf seafood, traditional Vietnamese Cuisine, a Gumbo Cook-off, an Arts & Crafts Show, a Decorated Boat Contest, Boat Cruises, Bingo, activities for children, and more.  There’s a land parade Sunday at 2pm, followed by the Fleet Blessing and boat parade at 3pm.  CLICK HERE   


GULF COAST HOT AIR BALLOON FESTIVAL- THURSDAY 6pm-8pm Balloon Glow at Tanger Outlets; Balloon Festival on FRIDAY 2pm-10pm; SATURDAY 9am-10pm, Festival Grounds, Foley

Over 40 hot air balloons are expected at this year’s festival. Enjoy performances by the World-Famous Disc Connected Canines, musical entertainment, children’s activities and more amid retail, arts & crafts and food booths. PENSACOLA CRAWFISH FESTIVAL- Fri 12 noon-11pm; Sat 10am-11pm; Sun 11pm-5pm, Bartram Park, Pensacola

This year’s festival features 16,000 pounds of boiled crawfish along with great Cajun dishes, live entertainment, and activities for all ages.  CLICK HERE   

FIESTA 10K & 5K RUN/WALK- Sat 7:30am Pensacola State; finishes at Seville Square. Those who run in the race will receive free admission to the Pensacola Crawfish Festival on Saturday.  CLICK HERE

CUBAN FESTIVAL- Sat 10am-5pm, Mobile Museum of Art, Langan (Municipal) Park

This is the Mobile Museum of Art’s first ever Cuban Festival, celebrating the shared cultures of Mobile and our sister city, Havana, Cuba. With free admission for all Mobile County residents offered all day, you can also check out some vintage cars that will be on display out front, tour the galleries with the artists themselves, enjoy lunch from a local food truck, learn to salsa, and end the afternoon with a film about the famous Buena Vista Social Club.  CLICK HERE
