JENNIFER CLAIRE MOORE FOUNDATION RODEO- Thurs/Fri/Sat 8pm, gates open 5:30pm, Foley Horse Arena, Foley

Watch professional cowgirls and cowboys compete for top prize money in bareback and saddle bronc riding, bull riding, calf roping, breakaway roping, steer wrestling, team roping and barrel racing. Kids Zone activities include face painting, tattoos, bouncy house, inflatable obstacle course and games! BABE RUTH WORLD SERIES IN MOBILE- Fri 7pm, Hank Aaron Stadium (Opening Ceremony and Alabama Rawdogs vs China); all other games at Jacobs Field, University of Mobile 

For the first time ever, Mobile is hosting the 16-18 year old Babe Ruth World Series, with 8 regional champion teams competing. Friday will be the Opening Ceremony Festivities, followed The Alabama Rawdogs vs China game and a firework show at the Hank. (This is the first time China has competed in the 16-18 Babe Ruth World Series.) A total of 24 games will be played at the University of Mobile from Aug 2 to Aug 9. CLICK HERE

PENSACOLA BLUE WAHOOS BASEBALL vs BIRMINGHAM BARONS- Thurs/Fri 6:35pm; Sat 6:05pm; Sun 5:05pm, Blue Wahoos Stadium

PELICAN PADDLE- Sat 7:30am-12 noon, Weeks Bay, Fairhope

Pelican Paddle is a fun, family-oriented, 3.5-mile canoe, kayak and paddle board race that’s open to all ages and skill levels. Plus, there’s a seven-mile pro option for the serious paddlers, and a non-competitive, guided Eco-Tour of Weeks Bay. CLICK HERE 

COMMEMORATION OF THE BATTLE OF MOBILE BAY- Sat 9am-3pm, Fort Morgan, Gulf Shores

Fort Morgan State Historic Site will be commemorating the events that happened here at Mobile Bay August 5-23, 1864 with demos by living history staff and volunteers. Join us to learn more about this pivotal battle in the American Civil War. CLICK HERE

155th BATTLE OF MOBILE BAY Commemorative Day - Sat 10am-4pm, Fort Gaines Historic Site, Dauphin Island

The event highlights Fort Gaines integral role in the Battle of Mobile Bay. The cannon will be fired every forty-five minutes in honor of the soldiers that fought in this pivotal battle. Come and experience a living history day for the whole family. CLICK HERE
