JAY-Z: Chief Brand Strategist for Cannabis Company

Jay-Z is looking to make green with a new venture in the legal weed space.

Cannabis company Caliva has tapped Hov to serve as Chief Brand Strategist. He says, “Anything I do, I want to do correctly and at the highest level… We want to create something amazing, have fun in the process, do good and bring people along the way.”

Jay’s role isn’t just about plugging the product. He’ll help develop “creative strategies and outreach efforts,” and work to improve social justice issues around weed legalization, including “advocacy, job training and overall employee and workforce development.”
