KEHLANI: Mourning Loss of Little Sister
Kehlani is starting the year off with some sad news.
The R&B singer tweeted about the loss of her little sister. On New Year’s Day she posted, “Just got the worst [effin’] news ever. My heart is BROKE…RIP my baby. I love you Lexii. My baby was 21!!!!!… This…was so much deeper than music. That was my little sister.”
Kehlani called it the “saddest way to start a new year. I’m off this happy New Year, please please please please be safe out here. Love on your people.”
YG: Apologizes for Anti-LGBTQ Views
YG wants to make sure his intentions are clear going into the new year.
He hit up Twitter in the early minutes of New Year’s Day to share a message with his followers. YG tweeted, “It’s been brought to my attention that my old views on life [were] ignorant. I apologize to the LGBTQ ‘kommunity’ for ever ‘komin’ across like I was anything but respectful and accepting...
As far as I know, he wasn’t apologizing for a specific comment, but rather signifying a larger change in his perspective. Some people are thinking this is an attempt to win back ex-girlfriend Kehlani, who identifies as queer.
