God’s Plan is working for Drake and a woman he helped put through college.
One of the people in the video for “God’s Plan” was Destiny James, a student who was given a $50,000 scholarship to complete her undergraduate studies at the University of Miami. Since then, she’s moved onward and upward to University of North Carolina, where she recently graduated with her master’s degree in Public Health.
The Game Reboot Is Moving Forward
The Game reboot is officially in the works! Streaming service Paramount+, has ordered 10-episodes. So far original Wendy Raquel Robinson, who played Tasha Mack, and Hosea Chanchez, who played Malik Wright, have signed on. A few of the behind-the-scenes key players that are returning will be show creator Mara Brock Akil & Kelsey Grammer will be return to executive produce the series.
WNBA Season Starts Today
The 2021 WNBA season tips off today. It's the league's 25th season and will start off with the Indiana Fever at New York Liberty. The Phoenix Mercury will take on the Minnesota Lynx in a matchup between two of last year's playoff teams.
