Former “Full House" star Lori Loughlin and her daughters are facing fallout after being implicated in a college admissions bribery scandal. Deadline reports the 54-year-old actress has been fired from the Hallmark Channel and from Netflix’s upcoming fifth and final season of “Fuller House.” Loughlin had been starring in the “Garage Sale Mysteries” TV movies and the Hallmark series “When Calls the Heart,” plus reprising her role as Aunt Becky on the “Full House” sequel series.
She turned herself in to the FBI Wednesday after being named among 50 people indicted in a nationwide scheme to get children of wealthy parents into colleges of their choice through fake athletic credentials or phony SAT scores. Loughlin and her husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, are accused of paying bribes totaling $500,000 to have their two daughters designed as crew recruits, despite not participating in the rowing sport, to ensure admission into the University of Southern California
Loughlin and Giannulli are currently out on $1 million bond.
In addition to criminal charges,ET reports Loughlin and “Desperate Housewives” actress Felicity Huffman have been hit with a $500 billion lawsuit filed by an upset parent!!!
