Kodak Black has been hit with a lawsuit by a promoter that says he no-showed a trio of concerts.
The Blast reports that an Arizona man named Nicholas Fitts is taking the Florida rapper to court after Kodak failed to hold up his end of the bargain for a 2017 show that was rescheduled twice. The organizer says he’s out thousands of dollars for the venue and event promotion.
Fitts wants $500,000 to recoup expenses and to compensate for “a loss of ticket revenue.”
This isn't the first time Black has ran into legal issues regarding his shows. Another promoter hit him for $45,000 with claims that Black cashed his six-figure check without putting in the work aka showing up and performing at a scheduled concert. It turns out that Black was arrested and in jail on the same day of the concert (Feb. 28, 2017). Although, the concert date was later rescheduled, Black continued to be a no-show. (It's unclear if he was still in jail or if he just didn't show up.)
