We’re hearing reports that LeBron James is having trouble locking down NBA players forSpace Jam 2.
King James, who is executive producing and starring in the sequel, wants to get together a dream team like the pro ballers that helped Bugs Bunny and Michael Jordan’s Toon Squad win in the first movie back in 1996. That original version featured athletes like Charles Barkley, Larry Bird, Shawn Bradley, Patrick Ewing, Larry Johnson and Muggsy Bogues.
Hoops Hype reports that the issue all comes down to one thing -- moolah. LeBron’s pals from the league aren’t opposed to the idea, as long as the check is right. (The Independent)
